In Baden-Württemberg ist die Zahl politisch motivierter Gewaltdelikte im Jahr 2025 deutlich in die Höhe geschnellt. Die Polizei registrierte landesweit 298 entsprechende Taten, wie das Innenministerium nach Angaben der Deutschen Presse-Agentur mitteilte. Das entspricht einem Anstieg von 41,2 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Die Entwicklung zieht sich nach Behördenangaben durch nahezu alle Phänomenbereiche – von Straftaten aus dem rechten oder linken Spektrum bis hin zu Taten, die aus religiösen oder ausländischen Ideologien heraus begangen werden.

Auch insgesamt haben politisch motivierte Straftaten im Südwesten zugenommen. Die Zahl der registrierten Fälle stieg 2025 um 4,2 Prozent von 6.526 auf 6.801. Das Spektrum reicht von abgerissenen oder zerstörten Wahlplakaten über Anfeindungen, Ausgrenzungen und Beleidigungen bis hin zu schwerster und tödlicher Gewalt. Unter den erfassten Taten finden sich auch terroristische Anschläge. Das Innenministerium spricht vor diesem Hintergrund von einem immer rauer werdenden gesellschaftlichen Klima.

Innenminister Thomas Strobl (CDU) wertet den Trend als Belastungsprobe für die demokratische Ordnung. „Das gesellschaftliche Klima wird rauer. Jeder Akt der Gewalt ist ein Angriff auf unsere freiheitliche demokratische Grundordnung“, sagte er der dpa. Gewalt dürfe kein Mittel politischer Auseinandersetzung sein. Man trete in Baden-Württemberg verfassungsfeindlichen Bestrebungen „gleich welcher Couleur“ mit geballten Kräften entgegen; Hass, Hetze und Gewalt würden nicht geduldet, sondern entschieden und konsequent verfolgt.

Als politisch motivierte Kriminalität wertet das Land ein breites Feld von Vorfällen: Dazu zählen etwa Attacken auf Polizisten bei Demonstrationen zum Nahost-Konflikt, illegale Straßenblockaden von Klimaaktivisten oder der Angriff auf ein israelisches Rüstungsunternehmen in Ulm im September 2025. Nach Ministeriumsangaben entfällt der stärkste Anstieg innerhalb der Gewaltdelikte auf Taten, die auf einer religiösen oder ausländischen Ideologie beruhen. Die Sicherheitsbehörden sehen sich damit zunehmend gefordert, auf ein ausdifferenziertes und dynamisches Bedrohungsbild zu reagieren.
